Hello students and families! Welcome to KG2! My name is Miss Vicky and I am very excited to have this opportunity to be your teacher this school year. I have been a teacher for the last 16 years and this is a dream come true. I am looking forward to getting to know you, but first here is a little more about me! I am from South Africa, but moved to the UAE in 2019 and I currently live in Ajman. Besides teaching, I enjoy traveling, painting and cooking. I have three children. They are all boys and they are grown up. I am eager to work with you, not only to teach academic skills but also life -long skills which are essential part of life. I have an open door policy and will uphold the highest levels of communication to ensure all stakeholders are aware of school policy as well as sharing examples of outstanding work to encourage my students.

My name is Minal and I come from the beautiful city of Mumbai in India. This will be my 5th year at Crown Private School and my 11th year teaching in the UAE. ‘Every Year I love it more!’. Teaching is my dream job and I feel honoured to be in a position to be able to help your children learn and develop to their full potential. I have completed my Masters’ degree in Pediatric Nursing from India and have earned the Early Years Foundation Stage (British Curriculum) Level 3 teaching qualification in Dubai. My family is my strength and the joy of my life is my 7-year-old daughter Manavi. I am energetic and passionate about what I do and Early Years Education ‘is my passion’. I truly believe that every child is unique and it is important to keep them unique. I also believe children learn best through play and Early Years Education is not just a way to ‘get children to read and write’ but to ‘get them ready for life’. I genuinely love children and believe parents are the first enduring educators. I have always worked in partnership with parents and have found communication, trust and the sharing of information between parents and teacher a key aspect in ensuring the development and progress of the children in my care. I have three children who are also in the UAE with me. I hold a Bachelor of Art in Pre and Primary Teacher Training from Pebble Hills University USA, a Post Graduate Diploma in Montessori Teacher Training from the Asian College of Teachers, a NCFE Cache Level 3 Diploma, Advanced Diploma in Pre and Primary Teacher Training with Specialization in Language Awareness and Classroom Management and a Certificate in Teaching from the London School of Teaching, London, England. I have been teaching for 7 years and I have a passion for engaging young minds of all ages. I believe in using different learning styles to make learning interesting.

Dear Parents, My name is Grace Nibah and I am from Cameroon. I am thrilled to be your child's KG 1 homeroom teacher for this school year. I look forward to a fun filled year full of learning, adventures and helping your child grow to reach their full potential. I am currently completing my Masters in Education (Teaching and Learning) here in the UAE. After completing my Bachelors degree, I earned a post graduate degree in Education (PGCE); a Professional certificate in teaching and learning (PGCTL); Award for Training and Higher Education (ATHE) UK level 6; the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) CACHE Level 3 and a total of 7 years of teaching experience in UAE. I believe that every child is unique and in order to meet their individual needs, I create a rich learning environment with a variety of hands-on activities. Another important area that I lay emphasis on is the child’s social and emotional development. My name is Zaiboonisha Mamdoo. I am a qualified educator with a Bachelor of Education Degree. I am an experienced primary teacher with 12 years of experience. I have taught in South Africa and the KSA teaching the Cambridge curriculum. My qualifications have taught me all the facets of the teaching and learning environment. It also empowered me to be comfortable with all types of students and on several kinds of projects at the same time and to function as an all round employee within a school. My teaching philosophy is relationship orientated and student-centred, framed around a sense of high professional expectations of myself and high learning expectations of my students. I seek to engage students’ interest and creativity by exploring and making connections between learning contexts and their own understanding of the world.

I currently hold a Masters Degree in teaching young learners. I graduated from the University of Nottingham in England in 2013 and I have 8 years of teaching experience with a passion for bringing out the best in my students. My name is Mrs. Zahraa Kharwa, and I am a native English-speaking teacher from South Africa. My educational profile includes a Bachelor of Social Science degree with a specialisation in English and Industrial Psychology, a TEFL Masters certificate and a Teaching Certificate in ECD/Grade R teaching.In addition, I hold an Early Childhood Development Practitioner’s licence from the South African Council for Educators (SACE). I have taught at both primary and high school levels and have been providing specialised tuition for several year. My experience includes having taught both the British and American curricula, and I have over 4 years of teachingexperience in the Middle East. My name is NoxoloTembe and I am from South Africa. I am thrilled to introduce myself as your child’s Mathematics teacher. My name is Sahar Mohamed Ibrahim and I am a teacher of Arabic language. I graduated from Zagazig University in Egypt, College of Education, Department of Arabic Language, then joined the Department of Postgraduate Studies and got a professional diploma in Special Education from the Department of Language and Communication Disorders. My overall experience teaching in the United Arab Emirates is 9 years. I have always been keen to use modern educational technology and twenty-first century skills.

I am from Palestine but I was born and studied in UAE. I have a degree in English Language and Translation. I have worked in different schools in UAE. Dear Parents, My name is Afrah Qasim and I am a qualified teacher of Social Studies from Iraq. I graduated from Baghdad University, Department of History, in 1986 and have taught History, Geography and national education in Iraq for 10 years, in Malaysia for two years and in the United Arab Emirates for 12 years. In recent years, I have added to my experience by incorporating the latest technology and innovative teaching strategies into my teaching style.

Dear Parents, My name is Eman Alhaj, I'm from Jordan. I have been in the UAE since 2001. I currently live in Sharjah. It's my pleasure to be a member of the CPS family, this is my first year here, but I've been working in the teaching field since 2003 as an English teacher and I became an administrative Supervisor in 2013. I am determined our students will develop into independent, confident, open-minded, life-long learners ready to take their place in the 21st century. Dear Parents, My name is Venera Golubina and I'm happy to be part of the Crown Private School team. I’m a Special Educational Needs Coordinator (SENCO) and a member of the CPS Wellbeing team. I’m from Russia and this will be my 6th year in the UAE. I hold 2 Bachelor degrees: Counselor (Child Life Specialist) and Educational Psychologist. I have more than 16 years of total experience in teaching, mentoring, coaching and SEN support. My goal for this academic year is to provide services that allow students of determination achieve success academically during their time at school and in their regular life.

This is my third year in the school and I am looking forward to supporting your child's social, emotional and psychological wellbeing and development. I have an MSc and Mphil in Psychology.I have more than six years’ experience In Dubai and India as a Student Counselor/Psychologist. Dear Parents, My name is Hadjadj Bessem and I am pleased to be your child's Physical Education teacher for the school year. I am from Algeria and I completed my studies in Algeria. I have a degree in Physical Education and a master’s degree in the English, French and Arabic language. I have taught in Algeria for 5 years and I am looking forward to teaching here in Crown Private School where I hope to inspire my students to develop a lifelong love of sports.

My name is Ms Mariz and I am delighted to be a Physical Education Teacher at Crown Private School from Kindergarten through to Grade 2. I have 5 years of dynamic experience promoting physical activity and healthy habits in the UAE. I hold a Bachelor of Education specializing in Physical Education. My expertise lies in fostering physical development, encouraging team building and student cohesion through physical challenges, activities, sports, and games. My goal for this academic year is to encourage students to treat each other with respect, kindness and compassion. I know that every student has a unique learning style and it is my job as a teacher to help the students grow as learners with a good character.

Dear Parents, My name is Grace Barbara Scott and I consider it an honour to have been a teacher at the Crown Private School since August 2018. I am from India and have completed my BA in English after which I also achieved a Degree in Early Childhood Care and Education. With a total of 15 years of teaching experience I can without a second thought say that I love my job and the students that I have taught. When I see my students do well it gives me a sense of pride and happiness. I have been teaching in the UAE since 2012 with a number of British Schools including the Oxford School in Dubai and the Bloomington Academy in Ajman. I have also worked as the Head of the Primary Section at the Royal Academy in Ajman. My name is Imrana Faheem and I have been working in Crown Private School for the last three years as a teaching assistant in KG1. I am a qualified teacher with a Bachelor of Science degree as well as a Bachelor of Education degree. I have taught Maths and |Science in various capacities and grade levels in Pakistan before joining CPS. My name is Mrs. Binu K.S. and I am from India. My educational profile includes a Master’s degree in Engineering Computer Science specialising in software engineering and I am also an MCSE Microsoft certified system engineer. In addition, I also hold a Bachelor of Technology degree in Computer Science and a Post Graduate Diploma in human resource management. I have more than eight years’ experience in teaching at both primary and college levels and I have been providing specialised tuition for several years. My experience includes teaching and working within the realm of IT. I am passionate about teaching and I love helping children achieve their learning goals.
